They said “we have been sent to you by Allah”. (At first) we sent to them two messengers, but when they rejected both, we reinforced them with a third. Give them as an example the people of the town to which came the apostles. Everything we have counted up in a clear book. It is we who will bring the dead to life and (we) write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind. So give him good news of forgiveness and a reward most generous. You Only warn him who follows the Message and fears the Merciful, Unseen. I is alike whether you warn them or warn them not: they will not believe. We Have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them and we have covered them up, so that they can’t see. Verily, WE have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up(they can’t bow their heads). Already the Word(decree of punishment) has come into effect upon most of them, for they do not believe. That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
